Lokhwishi Bridge
Project overview
Seasonal flooding of the Phophonyane River cuts off KaNdwandwa and Vusweni for weeks each year, preventing children from reaching school and families from accessing healthcare and markets
Provides safe, year-round access for over 2000 people - including 300 children - restoring reliable routes to schools, clinics, and economic opportunities.
